The major theme of this week’s podcast is Life on Mars. The following is a video containing the music of David Bowie and scenes from the BBC series Life on Mars. If you are looking for something to distract you until Doctor Who starts I highly recommend this series. The US version is available on Netflix but it’s just not the same.
Philosophical issue of the wish: The nature of celebrity or any other kind of crush. How do you guys deal with crushes celebrity or otherwise? Do you think it is a benefit or inconvenience?
One of my recommendations of the week was Judd Apatow’s This if 40. There are a ton of stars associated with this film. I think that it will be somewhat entertaining. I am personally annoyed that all films about 40+ year old involve having children. Not everyone does that theses days. But since it is a some what follow up to Knocked Up I will give this film a chance. The following is the trailer. Check it out.
My other recommendation is the site oneword.com. You are presented with the word of the day and you have 60 seconds to write about it. It is good to get you in the habit of just writing.

Philosophical pondersings or what is wrong with me?
Joke of the Week (or in my case Weak)
